How can we feed a growing world population ensuring that more than 9 billion people in 2050 have access to healthy food? How can we design mobility to make travel and commuting safer with less environmental impact? How can we as industry leaders, scientists and startups take responsibility for our planet that allows our children to have the same room for development and quality of life that we take for granted? And how can we can combine all this with successful business?
We, at Bühler, believe that only through close collaboration can we innovate for a better world: to turn global challenges of the food, feed and mobility sector into exciting business opportunities and to be successful with new, sustainable value chains and business models. Since our foundation more than 150 years ago we have been dedicated to improving quality of life through our products, services and partnerships.
This was the core idea for the first Networking Days in 2016, to which we invited the world’s food industry. The resonance to this endeavor was phenomenal. With 600 participants from all over the world – with the responsibility to feed around 4 billion people every day – we made the initial step to build up a unique industry platform to jointly create impact. Since then, we continued our journey of bringing our industries together by Networking Days and invested substantial funds to build our new CUBIC innovation campus for collaboration.
Now we are taking the next step. We cordially invite you to the upcoming Networking Days in Uzwil from August 26-27. With this event, we would also like to formally open the CUBIC to our customers and partners. Under the motto “Creating tomorrow together,” Networking Days 2019 is designed for all our businesses so that we can be inspired by the experiences and learnings from other industries.
The program around sustainable mobility and food & feed value chains focuses on three main drivers: Talent, Digitalization and Collaboration. Get inspired by top speakers, discuss new approaches in breakout sessions, and discover new technologies in our solution space. Make use of the opportunity to meet colleagues from your industry to foster your personal network.
It’s time to turn the values and vision we share into impact. Let’s turn the demanding global challenges into sustainable, successful businesses – together.
